Supporting Recovery Through Community
Sober Outings & Socials is a group solely borne out of the desire to provide fun events for people who are in, interested in or supporting anyone in recovery from any form of addiction.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and creating supportive social opportunities for individuals in recovery. Together, we build a stronger, healthier community through connection and shared experiences.
Founded in 2023, Sober Outings and Socials LLC emerged from a simple belief: recovery is stronger when we do it together. Our organization was born from the personal experiences of individuals who understand the challenges of maintaining sobriety in a world where social activities often revolve around alcohol.
Led by founder Eugene Kendrick, we recognized the need for inclusive, substance-free social opportunities that welcome not just those in recovery, but also those interested in recovery or supporting loved ones on their journey. Our group is solely borne out of the desire to provide fun events for people who are in, interested in or supporting anyone in recovery from any form of addiction.
We organize alcohol-free social events, outdoor adventures, and community gatherings that provide safe, supportive, and fun environments for people in all stages of recovery. From hiking trips and game nights to volunteer opportunities and educational workshops, we create spaces where authentic connections can flourish.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on donations, grants, and fundraising events to support our programs. Every dollar raised goes directly toward creating more opportunities for individuals in recovery to build meaningful relationships and enjoy life to its fullest.
We believe in the power of connection and peer support in the recovery journey.
All are welcome, regardless of their recovery path or stage in the journey.
We show that life in recovery can be full of fun, adventure, and meaningful experiences.
